Roz Cooper is a dedicated Rotarian and member of the Rotary Club of Metropolitan Honolulu (Metro) with a long-standing history of leadership and service within Rotary District 5000. As a Past District Governor, Roz played a pivotal role in inspiring and empowering clubs across the district to achieve new milestones in service, membership growth, and community impact. Her tenure as District Governor was marked by innovative initiatives, strategic collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to Rotary’s core values of fellowship, integrity, diversity, and service. In her current role as the End Polio Now District Chair, Roz is passionately leading the charge in the global fight to eradicate polio. Aloha Harvest is Hawaiʻi's largest food rescue and redistribution organization, dedicated to collecting quality excess food and delivering it free of charge to social service agencies feeding the hungry.Since its inception in November 1999, Aloha Harvest has rescued over 26 million pounds of food, significantly reducing food waste and alleviating hunger across Oʻahu. By diverting surplus food from landfills, the organization also mitigates environmental impacts, such as methane emissions, contributing to a more sustainable community. The Hawai‘i Innocence Project (HIP), established in 2005 at the William S. Richardson School of Law, is a nonprofit legal organization dedicated to exonerating individuals who have been wrongfully convicted in Hawai‘i. As a member of the Innocence Network, HIP provides pro bono legal representation to those with credible claims of actual innocence.
