Saturday, March 13, 2021 @ 5:30 PM (room opens at 5:00 pm) It's time for Virtual Trivia with your favorite Rotarians. Join us for a fundraiser that benefits the Rotary Club of Hickam Pearl Harbor and the works of the club, their continued partnership with Kalihi Elementary School and the Kalihi Community. You will receive one link per team (and a team consists of up to five participants on a single camera, no worries if you're on your own). On that Saturday, support your favorite local restaurant by grabbing takeout and prepare to show off your knowledge about the popular television show, Friends. Room opens at 5pm. May 08, 2021 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Our first group community service project since the pandemic is scheduled on May 8th, from 8:00 to noon. It entails sloping of the concrete curbing around the playground and the rec center area at Kahauiki Village, a low-income family housing development that Rotary has been involved with for the last couple of years. We will be working with two other clubs and will need a group of 10 members from our club to complete the project. The materials will be provided and we will be digging up and moving sod squares to the location of the playground and leveling the sod and gravel. Please sign up as soon as possible if you can help. Mahalo, Allen Kamemoto |
