We are looking for sponsors!

Hawaii Rotary is working on an initiative to share simple acts of Aloha and Mahalo in support of Hawaii’s healthcare workers.

The initiative is called Serving Our Healthcare Workers with Aloha. The Rotary Club of Hickam Pearl Harbor has chosen to support Kaiser Moanalua Medical Center and Tripler Army Medical Center.

With nearly 150 nurses at Tripler and more at Kaiser Moanalua,  our club is making ear savers to hand out to each nurse at these locations, along with providing some type of meal, gift card, or even snack bag.

We are planning to complete this by Rotary Gives Thanks day on November 27th.

Would you or someone you know be willing to support our club with this service project? Support could be in the means of a financial donation or swag donation that we can include in our gifts.

Email info@rotaryhph.org or text 804-4ROTARY (804-476-8279) to join the efforts.

President's Message

Carole Reynolds (2020-2022) shares her motto, "learn something new everyday, so as not to waste a day."

For the first year in Carole's 2-year term, her club vision is:

- to be the change that we want to see;
- to be the voice that we want to hear;
- to be the dream that we want the world to wake up to.

Carole is excited to learn as much as possible in her new leadership role and has the intention for the club to serve the community by giving a hand up and not a handout

Rotary International President Shekhar Mehta’s theme for 2021-2022 is Serve to Change Lives.  Shekhar urges members to become more involved in service projects, saying that caring for and serving others is the best way to live because it changes not only other people’s lives, but also our own.

District Governor Sandy Matsui adds that here in Hawaii, we will "serve with aloha" to change lives!

“Whatever your do, or however you serve, do it with the aloha in your heart.” Sandy Matsui, District 5000 Governor 2021-22
