Details:
Meet the group between 8-8:30am at the entrance of the hiking trail from the Dillingham side of Ka'ena Point. There will be a one mile hike to a location where we will do some plant restoration and cleanup. We will be working for approximately 2-3 hours and then walking back.

It is going to be hot and dry, without any shade. Please be sure to wear appropriate attire and sunblock.

Bring a backpack, water, hat/head covering and extra sunblock. Shoes, sneakers, or boots are preferred. If you have work gloves, please bring them.

Due to the bird sanctuary, pets/animals are not allowed.

DIRECTIONS:

Mokule‘ia route, take H-2 to Kaukonahua Road (Route 803) to Farrington Highway (Route 930) past Waialua and go about 1 mile past Camp Erdman. The trailhead on either side of Ka‘ena Point begins where the paved road ends and a rough 4-wheel drive road begins.
