He was also in the Boy Scouts of America and attained the rank of Eagle Scout which has taught him the importance of giving back to the community and helping others. Derek attended Pacific University in Oregon where he played soccer while earning his B.S. in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Integrative Physiology in 2007. He continued his education at Pacific earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2010. He has experience with outpatient orthopedics and neurological rehabilitation and has developed a comprehensive approach to evaluating and treating patients.
