Aloha Harvest is Hawaiʻi's largest food rescue and redistribution organization, dedicated to collecting quality excess food and delivering it free of charge to social service agencies feeding the hungry.Since its inception in November 1999, Aloha Harvest has rescued over 26 million pounds of food, significantly reducing food waste and alleviating hunger across Oʻahu. By diverting surplus food from landfills, the organization also mitigates environmental impacts, such as methane emissions, contributing to a more sustainable community. The Hawai‘i Innocence Project (HIP), established in 2005 at the William S. Richardson School of Law, is a nonprofit legal organization dedicated to exonerating individuals who have been wrongfully convicted in Hawai‘i. As a member of the Innocence Network, HIP provides pro bono legal representation to those with credible claims of actual innocence. In 2019, he retired from the Bureau of Prisons and began a second job with the Hawaii Department of Education as a licensed school psychologist. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys golfing, workout out, and taking care of his wife's cat. Jeff has been a Rotarian since 2021, and joined the Hickham Pearl Harbor club in October 2024 after transferring from Kapolei Sunset.

Mark Fischer is a 24-year Air Force veteran, 10+ of those years serving in Hawaii at Hickham Air Force Base and Camp Smith. Besides Hawaii, Mark had assignments in Alabama, California, Mississippi, Korea, and Thailand. After retirement, Mark started a second career with an IT company as the Director of Operations for the greater Washington, DC area and Asia Pacific. In 2018, he retired for good, and the following year moved to the Phillipines where he was introduced to Rotary and became a member. The Rotary Club of Clark Centennial (RCCC), Mark's current club, is in Angeles City, Philippines. It was founded in 1999, and today has an active membership of 26 enthusiastic Rotarians. RCCC is unique in that they boast a truly international membership. Currently, the club has members from the United States, Great Britain, Scotland, Australia, Russia, and of course the Philippines. |

Born and raised in Honolulu, Alan Kusunoki graduated from Columbia University with a degree in civil engineering, whereupon he joined the Peace Corps and served in Afghanistan from 1970-1972. As a volunteer, he worked with a United Nations engineer and other Afghan counterparts, and helped to research, write, and publish the first building code for Afghanistan. Upon returning to the States, Alan began a career in architectural engineering in Omaha, NE. A year later, the company transferred his family to Singapore, then to Hong Kong - he lived and worked in Southeast Asia for 8 years. Returning to Los Angeles, he continued to design high-tech facilities for another 10 years. Alan finally returned to Hawaii in 1991 with the Smithsonian Institution Astrophysical Observatory to manage the construction of a new radio telescope, the Submillimeter Array on Mauna Kea. Alan joined the Rotary Club of Hilo in October 1993, and during his time in Hilo, served as Club President and Assistant Governor. After retiring in 2016, he returned to Honolulu, where he has continued in Rotary D5000 service (Rotary Peace Fellowships - chair, District Conference 2021 - chair, D5000 International Service Team, RYLA - programming chair). Currently, Alan is Vice President of the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Hawaii, and also serves as chair of the Outreach Committee on the board of Partnering for Peace. |
