Club Members,

 

We had a great meeting this past week.  We had a number of guests and learned about new exciting project opportunities for us to consider in the future.

 

Speaking of future opportunities, we are teaming up with Kapolei Sunset Rotary Club to conduct a joint project titled "Growing with Women in Need--Haiawa House".

 

We are submitting a joint "No-Match" grant for $1000.00.  The project will include providing gardening and yard supplies, expertise, and volunteer hours to help the Women In Need Shelter as it seeks to teach clients about gardening, yard work, and cooking fresh produce.  More details to follow on this very worthwhile project.

 

I hope to see everyone at the meeting this week and please bring some food or drinks to participate in the pot luck.
